COVID-19: MSP arrangements and support

MSP is now remote-working and has set up web pages to support the physical activity and sport sector, as well as the public at this time.

  • You can find details of how to contact the team below.
  • Our physical activity and sport sector support page is here (we will update this whenever we get new information for you).
  • Our page dedicated to helping you be active during the coronavirus outbreak is here.
  • Our page dedicated to supporting schools during the coronavirus outbreak is here

From the 18th March 2020 until further notice the whole MSP team will be remote working, following government advice on COVID-19.

That means that our physical office won’t be staffed, so you won’t be able to reach us on our landline numbers, or pop in for a cuppa.

However, our team will still be very much available for you via email and, in the majority of cases, work mobiles.

You can find a full list of team email addresses and mobile numbers below:

The team will continue to beaver away on our commitment to use sport and physical activity to improve physical and mental wellbeing. As well as carrying on with as much of our planned work programme as possible, we’ll also be looking at ways that we can do our bit to make this difficult time a little bit easier for partners and the whole Merseyside community. This will include offering advice and support via social media, our website and email, particularly as we look to support the sector through a challenging period.

These are tough times, but we know that Merseyside has a strong spirit and that together we will get through this.

We look forward to staying in touch and will let you know when we’re able to return to having a consistent office-based presence.

Kind regards,

Tom Douglas
