After an Easter Bank holiday of record-breaking warm weather a further ray of sunshine has beamed its way into the MSP office in the form of Grace Perry, our new The Daily Mile™ Local Coordinator for the Liverpool City Region.
The Daily Mile encourages children to jog or run at their own pace for 15 minutes outside with their friends. Grace will be here to help primary schools across Halton, Knowlsey, Liverpool, Sefton, St. Helens and Wirral to get started with it and also offer advice and information on how to sustain it.
As a trained school PE teacher, former Premiership-level Rugby player and someone who enjoys enjoy hiking, swimming and sailing in her spare time, Grace is perfectly placed to support schools in getting children more active through The Daily Mile.
She’ll be reaching out to all of the primary schools in the Liverpool City Region in the coming weeks and months.
