Over the years many organisations have contributed to sport and physical activity on Merseyside, sustaining a vibrant sporting infrastructure of clubs, coaches and volunteers, developing strong school - community links, engaging people of all ages in sport and physical activity and providing a platform for them to excel in their chosen sport if they so wish.
None of the above would be possible without the skills and talents of the paid
employees working across the county, and the huge contribution made by the formal
and informal volunteers regularly involved in sport and physical activity on
Merseyside. One way to ensure that our sector continues to perform and improve,
is to invest in the quality of our sub-region's workforce.
Ensuring that the sporting
workforce has the opportunities to gain and continue to develop the skills, knowledge
and competencies required is vital if we are to sustain and support the sector
to grow.
Courses and training opportunities
are offered by a range of organisations including:

Merseyside Sports Partnership is always
looking to identify and promote opportunities for learning and skills development
to support the sporting workforce
and ensure that everyone has the chance to fulfil their potential.
