Sporting Pathways are the routes from playing sport in your back garden to competing in the Olympics, and everything in between. The Merseyside Sports Partnership is tasked with helping to identify sporting pathways for people who would like to progress in their chosen sport or sports.
Pathways could be from school to sports clubs, or from sports clubs to regional competitions. Talented individuals should be actively encouraged and helped to progress to County, Regional or even National level as they are potentially our future sporting champions.
Anyone needing to develop their sporting pathway can speak to their P.E. teachers in school, to sports clubs, contact the local sports development officers or the National Governing Body for your sport. These are listed in the contacts page –
