Funding and Investment
Merseyside Sports Partnership is well placed to link sports people/organisations requiring funding with commercial sponsorship opportunities. Please search through the available information and visit the contacts page for direct links with the relevant associations who will be able to assist you further.
Merseyside Sports Partnership recognise the importance of supporting their partners to access and secure funding from many sources within the public, private and voluntary sector to develop community sport.
For organisations, Merseyside Sports Partnership has access to Funding Central, a search tool which provides us with up to date information on local, regional and national funding programmes. Before completing an online form, please note that grants are only accessible to community clubs/voluntary, not-for-profit or charity organisations, Community Interest Companies (CICs) or social enterprises. As a minimum your organisation would need to have a constitution and a bank account in order to make an application. To see if your project or programme is eligible please complete this online form so that we can perform a search for you.
For individuals, Local Sports Councils offer a sports bursary fund to assist with coaching, sports equipment, accommodation, and travel to and from competitions. For up-to-date information on how to contact your Local Sports Council regarding bursaries please contact email@example.com in the first instance.
Merseyside Sports Partnership also organise a number of programmes and events that require sponsorship. We work closely with our sponsorship partners to ensure that the relationship is mutually beneficial, including the production of event reports which record the impact of our work.
If your organisation is interested in sponsoring one of the events we organise, including the Merseyside Sporting Champions Dinner or the Merseyside School Games please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org
