• One of the original playing members of the Toxteth Tigers when it formed in 1967, Henry is now running the programme in the position of Head Coach and Secretary
• Having dedicated many hours of his time to working with disaffected young people the membership of the club has risen to over 200 male and females across all communities in Toxteth
• When the squad became National Champions in 2000, 8 of the 15 strong squad were accepted academically into University
• A fundraiser and mentor, Henry has made an enormous impact on the lives of countless people and on the community of Toxteth as a whole

• Mike joined The Northern Club 26 years ago as a young cricketer and squash player
• He became Cricket Fixture Secretary and then Chairman in 1998
• Mike then worked tirelessly to develop the junior cricket section of the club, becoming the Child Welfare Officer and working closely with local sports to promote the sport
• He now mentors young coaches to further develop the sustainability of the club and continues to coach and plays an active part in all areas in this multi sport club

• In 2006 Tina Burrows was approached to be Head Coach of Heswall Squash Club with the specific task of developing the junior club and raising participation
• Tina’s impact in this role has been incredible and supporting this, young people and parents have commented on the infectious enthusiasm she shows for the sport
• There are now 70 junior players on the register, and each week they bring new friends along with them. Twelve junior players are involved in county coaching, two players attend the North West Academy and one is to represent the North West in the Under 13 girls along with a number of other great achievements in competitions

• Peter started playing tennis at the age of 4 and now, at just 15, has represented Team Great Britain at the Special Olympics in China, bringing back 2 Gold medals in the men’s doubles and singles.
• In the Special Olympic National Games (Glasgow 2005) Peter achieved a Gold Medal in the singles game and at the British Tennis Foundation National Tennis Tournament he achieved Gold in the men’s singles and doubles games in 2005 and 2006 as well as a Silver in the mixed doubles and is ranked number 1 in Great Britain
• His ability also comes with willinessness to help others, as Peter also continues to help coach the younger players and volunteers at after school clubs
