Community: Building Schools for the Future
Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is the government’s secondary school renewal programme. BSF was launched by the Department for Education and Skills in February 2003, with the purpose of transforming the way secondary schools function. Partnerships for Schools (PfS) are responsible for delivering the 15-year £45 billion programme.
PE & Sport in BSF Partnerships for Schools, together with the Youth Sport Trust and Sport England have jointly recognised the value that PE and Sport can add to the programme at a time when there are record levels of government and public interest and investment in PE and Sport.
