About Mark:
Mark Coups is energetic, creative, enterprising and committed Chief Executive Officer and past Senior Sports Development Director, with over 27 years’ experience in the sports sector concentrated in, but not limited to lacrosse. He is also currently chair of the Development Directors of the 46 funded sports knowledge sharing forum and a member of the national CEO forum. Mark played a leading role in the formulation of the Lacrosse’s 10 year strategic plan. It incorporates the Whole Sport Plan, to ensure that the strategy is developed into appropriate, coordinated action plans, which are then implemented and monitored to achieve the desired outcome.

Mark takes a pro-active approach to problem solving, plus has a singled minded attitude towards task resolution and a genuine ability to embrace change positively – all supported by sound planning,  management and financial expertise and commercial acumen. Mark is an enthusiastic individual who inspires and motivates others and whose flexible and collaborative approach to leadership demonstrates a strong belief in the benefits of partnership working and networking.

“I hill walk, snowboard, surf and go to the gym which helps me stay healthy, active and gives me just enough thrills.”
