» Every Child Matters graphic line
Sport England are looking to develop an online catalogue of all the good work that primarily aims to increase participation in sport amongst the ‘harder to reach’ young people, and work that directly supports the 5 Every Child Matters outcomes: · Be healthy · Stay safe · Enjoy and achieve · Make a positive contribution · Achieve economic well-being This supports the development of Local Borough Children and Young Peoples Plans, in particular the successful delivery of the Positive Activities for Young People. It is hoped to become a useful tool for local authorities in the development of their ‘Local Youth Offer’ response to the Section 6 Education and Inspection Act (PAYP) currently out to consultation. A form for collecting information about Every Child Matters initiatives is attached and includes details of how to back to the Sport 4 Life office. If you have any queries please contact the Sport 4 Life office and ask for Adam Smith or John Dwan on 0845 1300849 or by email to toolkit@mysportalife.co.uk
