Sport Liverpool – Young Volunteer of the Year category sponsor
Sport at the University of Liverpool is organised through the Sport Liverpool Department. We operate an excellently resourced Sports & Fitness Centre offering a swimming pool, squash courts, two sports halls, extensive gym, spinning room and studio. Our outdoor centre in Allerton provides football, lacrosse, sand dressed hockey, rugby union and rugby league pitches as well as a 3G training area.
Our professional staff support:
• An Athletic Union comprising 49 student led clubs with over 3000 members and internal sports offers involving over 800 students weekly
• Over 50 weekly classes ranging from yoga to pump
• Over 30 high performing students through our Elite Athlete and Sports Bursary schemes
